Terms and Conditions

RESERVATIONS

Reservations can be made until 24 hr prior to the starting time of the tour.

All tours operate with a minimum of 2 people and Viva Douro Tours reserves the right to cancel if the minimum number of participants is not reached.

All timings are Portuguese WET (Western European Time).

Viva Douro Tours is not responsible for any loss or damage of personal objects that occurs outside our vehicles.

PAYMENTS

Payments can be done with bank transfer or credit card in advance..

Last minute reservations can be done in cash before the tour or transfer takes place.

Payments must be in Euro.

REFUNDS

All refunds will be made if cancelled 48 hr prior to the starting time of the tour.

DELAYS, CANCELLATION OR NO-SHOW

Cancellation or any change to the booking must be made 48 hrs prior to the starting time for a 100% refund.

Our tours take place independently of the weather conditions. Weather conditions aren’t considered a reason for cancellation.

Viva Douro Tours may give a tolerance of 10 minutes to guests running late. There will be no refund in case of further delay or no-show.

INSURANCE

We are a fully RNAAT licensed company with all the insurances up to date.

Both the passengers and their luggage is insured.

We do not take responsability for delays in case of: traffic jams due to accidents, weather conditions or other unexpected incidents.

ITINERARY

The routes and locations mentioned in the programmes may be subject to change in case of the following conditions: time available, weather conditions, customer requests (for private tours), holidays, road closures and other unforseen reasons.

PASSENGERS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

If you need special assistance you must inform us at the time of booking. If Viva Douro Tours cannot accommodate your request for special needs we may have to decline the booking.

SMOKING

Smoking is not allowed in any of the vehicles.

FOOD AND DRINKS

The consumption of food & drinks during the tours is not allowed, with the exception of water.

LUGGAGE

The customer must inform in advance the quantity of luggage they are transporting before the transfer takes place.

Luggage transporting may be available for tours. Contact us before travelling with us.

DATA PROTECTION

Your privacy is important to Viva Douro Tours. We will not  share any information with third parties.

All required data requested at the time of booking are exclusively used by Viva Tours and in a strictly confidential format.

OTHER

Alcoholic drinks or any type of ilegal drugs are not allowed in our vehicles.

We reserve the right to refuse to transport guests under the obvious influence of alcohol or drugs or considered to be a risk to our guide and driver.

We reserve the right to not transport groups due to health and safety specifications.
