Who we really are
We are Verena and Hugo and love to share our passion with you.
Hugo has found his way being a professional tour guide, after a career in marketing and advertising linked with the wine industry. His personality makes him an easy person to contact. Born in Porto and having lived in the city for most of his life, he knows most of the secrets and interesting facts of this amazing region.
Verena was born in a purely tourist environment, as her family has run a hotel for several generations. She has a degree in Hotel Management and also in International Cultural and Business Studies, so she embraced the field of tourism naturally and has been a Tourist Guide in Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Iceland, Australia and now in Portugal.

What a fantastic day out! Hugo is a brilliant host – incredibly knowledgable, hugely entertaining and very thoughtful. We learnt so much about the geography of the region, and the history of port wine. We stopped at two stunning wineries, and sampled a great selection of port wines. The lunch provided was also delicious. Highly recommend. Would give 10 stars if I could!!
